"Looking for a place to call home" is an interactive art project based on the creation of a personal diary of someone looking for a "HOME". Employing an interactive documentary format, the resulting non-linear narrative will be available on a web platform.
This project is developed by Brazilian artist Ana Carolina von Hertwig in partnership with the research and creation laboratory Insertio (http://insertio.com/) in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

"Cherche un endroit qui s'appelle chez moi" est un projet d'art interactif basé sur la création d'un journal intime de quelqu'un qui cherche un "CHEZ MOI". Employant un format de documentaire interactif, le narratif non linéaire qui en résulte sera disponible sur une plate-forme web.

“Home: a place or a state of mind? a place to flee to or a place to flee from? a refuge or a prison? a warm place or a cold place? peaceful place or a source of conflict? A place to love or a place to be loved? a place of eternal acceptance or of perpetual rejection? none of the above or all of the above? So many questions for such a fundamental concept... and what of those who have no home?”
